Meet the Founder and CEO
Hi! I’m Shaunte Allen, a literacy expert with a passion for reading great books and writing provocative papers. My experience teaching English/Reading at the college and university levels makes up the majority of my professional background.
Additionally, I’ve served as an IT Director, Curriculum Director, Reading Department Chair, and Online Learning Experience Designer. My work has been recognized twice in Who’s Who in Community Colleges, and I’ve developed more than 1,000 courses, training programs, and digital solutions across higher education, government, and corporate sectors.
Learn MoreI hold a Master of Education in Secondary Education from Texas A&M-Commerce, a Bachelor of Arts in Literary Studies from the University of Dallas, and a Certificate in Visual Communications from Brookhaven College. I also completed the Educator Certification Program at Texas A&M-Commerce and hold certifications in English Language Arts and Reading (Grades 4–8, 8–12), ESL (Grades 4–12), Learning & Development (CLDP), Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, and Quality Matters course review.
Whether I’m building full-scale training programs or facilitating educational technology workshops, my focus is always on making learning engaging, accessible, and practical. Now, I specialize in training curricula that close skill gaps, helping employees feel confident, understand instructions clearly, and apply what they learn. When learners are unsupported, they don’t just fall behind—they stop believing in what’s possible. I wanted to change that.

How Our Story Began
Teaching at a local high school is where it all began. Students in my freshman reading class needed twice the amount of time to complete their exams based on a disability accommodation. I worked with the Instructional Technologist to create the high school’s first online exam!
Years later, my college students also struggled with literacy. But their work and family responsibilities made after-class tutoring impossible. They often studied late at night when I was unavailable.
Learn MoreI knew technology was the answer. I developed an e-learning platform that integrated gamification, engaging all 5 senses while providing multiple practices for continuous support. My e-learning platform allowed students to access learning resources whenever they needed them – even in the middle of the night.
Today, our focus has expanded beyond the classroom to workplace training, leveraging my 20-year educational background to help close literacy gaps in high-risk sectors. Now, I boost the bottom line for companies through training that improves literacy and empowers performance. It ensures workers return home safely to their families and advance in their careers.
